The City of Suisun City provides domestic water and sewer services for all properties located within its boundaries. Services are supplied through the Suisun-Solano Water Authority, but customer services are provided by the Suisun City Administrative Services Department.
NEW WATER SHUT-OFF POLICY & PROCEDURES
Effective February 1, 2020, in compliance with SB 998 – The Water Shut-off Protection Act – the City has adopted a new policy and procedures to provide additional protections for delinquent residential water customers before interruption of water service.

WATER SERVICE
Domestic water is provided through the Suisun-Solano Water Authority, a joint powers authority of between the City of Suisun City and the Solano Irrigation District (SID). The City handles local billing and requests for water and sewer service; the SID provides field service, capital maintenance, water delivery and water treatment services.
The SSWA board consists of the City Council and the SID board.
For an application to start utility services, please use the link above, or visit City Hall or Police Department Headquarters. A $30 deposit is required before your application can be processed; checks and money orders should be made out to “City of Suisun City.”
To discontinue or disconnect water service, use the online request form or visit City Hall during regular business hours. Shut off services for disconnected accounts are only available on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

SEWER SERVICE
Sewer service is provided to Suisun City residents by the Fairfield-Suisun Sewer District, an independent special district established to manage local sewer issues and governed by the City Councils of Suisun City and Fairfield. Billing and requests for service are handled by Suisun City Administrative Services.
Service laterals from individual homes and businesses to the sewer main are the responsibility of the property owner. The City’s Building & Public Works Department maintains sewer mains up to 10″ in diameter.
OTHER UTILITIES
All other utilities are provided to Suisun City residents by the respective utility companies.
