Class Specifications

All full-time City employee positions are defined by a Class Specification (also known as a Job Description, Job Specification or Job Classification Description).

The purpose of the specification is to outline the key knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform each type and level of work within the City organization.

Specifications, or classifications, are used to apply appropriate compensation rates.
