Earth Day Art Walk 2024

The Suisun City Environment and Climate Committee is hosting its second Earth Day Art Contest on April 20, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. at the Joseph Nelson Community Center. Children and Students, grades 3rd-12th are invited to participate in the contest. Let the community know what Earth Day means to you, with the following categories:

Recycled Materials Art: Craft innovative art by repurposing discarded materials, showcasing the transformative power of recycling.
Wildlife Conservation Art: Capture the essence and plight of local or endangered wildlife in your artwork to foster a message of preservation and protection.
Environment and Climate Art: Depict conservation efforts and wise resource use, inspiring actions toward a sustainable future through artistic expression.
Climate Action Heroes Art: Create portraits or narrative artworks that honor individuals or groups dedicated to combating climate change and advocating for the planet.

Submission deadline will be April 16, 2024, 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., drop off at the Joseph Nelson Community Center. Winners will be announced on April 20, 2024, at 2:00 p.m.
