Last night, the Suisun City Fire and Police Departments responded to a fire at the Walmart on Walters Road. While the fire was successfully contained, the building sustained significant smoke and water damage. The store is temporarily closed until further notice. The City is working closely with Walmart management to provide assistance as they prepare for reopening over the coming weeks.
All existing Walmart pharmacy prescriptions are being routed to the Fairfield and Vacaville Walmarts. Extra staff have been assigned to the Fairfield location to assist Suisun City residents.
