Suisun City Water Counter Reopens; Other City Services Remain Closed

Cybersecurity Incident Update

Suisun City, Calif. - Aug. 18, 2026

The Suisun City water counter is now open for in-person service at City Hall. Payments are currently accepted via cash or check only (credit and debit cards cannot be processed at this time).

In response to the ongoing cybersecurity incident and investigation, Suisun City will continue its internal operations while extending the closure of other services at City Hall on Tuesday, Aug. 18, including:

  • Planning Department

  • Building Department

  • Housing Department

  • Finance Department

  • Human Resources Department

  • Public Works Department

  • City Manager’s Office

  • Administration

Public safety services and response remain active. Suisun City Police and Fire will continue to respond to calls for service, and Suisun City dispatchers will continue to take 911 and non-emergency calls through the Solano County dispatch center. 

The Police Department lobby continues to be open and accessible for ticket sign-offs, vehicle releases, speaking with an officer and general assistance. The lobby is open Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., with possible closures for lunch from noon to 12:30 p.m.

The City is working alongside federal, state and regional agencies, including the FBI, Department of Homeland Security and California Office of Emergency Services, to investigate the cybersecurity incident, maintain essential services and restore systems.
