Suisun City invites residents and community members to the 2026 State of the City address taking place on May 28 at 6 p.m. Hosted at the Joseph A. Nelson Community Center, this event will provide a welcoming space for residents to gather, connect and commemorate the city’s recent accomplishments, while learning about the vision and initiatives to move Suisun forward.

"The State of the City is a vital moment for us to celebrate our shared achievements while recognizing the ongoing collective efforts to enhance our community," said Mayor Alma Hernandez. "I invite all our residents to join us in reflecting on our progress and actively participating in shaping the next chapter of Suisun City."

Attendees will have a unique opportunity to hear directly from city leadership and learn firsthand about the progress being made across city departments.

“Our department heads have been working tirelessly behind the scenes to keep Suisun City moving forward,” added City Manager Bret Prebula. “We are excited to pull back the curtain, reintroduce the faces behind these daily operations and show residents how our teams are turning the city's long-term vision into reality.”

Refreshments will be provided throughout the evening. Attendance is free, and all community members are welcome.
