Suisun City Fit Youth Mile and 5K

Registration for our first-ever ‘Suisun City Fit’ Mile & 5K opens Thursday, May 1 at 9:00 AM. The event is happening Saturday, June 28 at Solano Land Trust's Rush Ranch Open Space with an untimed 1-mile and timed 5K - free for youth and $10 for adults. Everyone gets a water bottle, bag, unique bib, and finisher medal!

Suisun City Fit is an initiative funded through the US Conference of Mayors's Childhood Obesity and Prevention Program. Suisun City has the highest childhood obesity rate in Solano County, and Solano County as a whole has higher than the state rates of youth physical inactivity. Suisun City Fit is intended to get youth moving, healthier, and outside so that they can grow an affinity for exercise and the beautiful backdrop of Suisun City. Below are the registration links:

We’re also offering a free 6-session class for youth starting June 9 at the Nelson Center. It includes fun workouts, nutrition tips, taste testing, cooking demos, and more to help get ready for race day and beyond. Class registration is here.
