Community Drop-Off Day

Saturday October 12th, 2019 @ 8:00 am 12:00 pm

Event runs from 8am to Noon. Vehicles must enter the event from Merganser Drive (Wigeon Way side). See map below for event location. A map for entering the event can be found under the full detail link provided below.

PROOF OF RESIDENCY IS REQUIRED. Proof of residency is required to participate in this event. Acceptable forms of Proof are a California Driver’s License and a utility bill (garbage, water, PG&E, phone, cell phone, cable).

This is the last Drop-Off Day scheduled for 2019 after the August 10th event.

Loose items MUST be bundled or bagged for disposal. This reduces the wait times by allowing for quicker offloading of debris. A non-profit will be on-site to take reusable items.

Maximum load amount is four (4) cubic yards of debris (roughly the bed size of a standard truck).

9/11 Memorial – Patriot Day

Patriot Day will be observed with Bell Tolling Ceremonies starting at 5:46 a.m. to commemorate the moment each plane crashed on 9/11/01.

The primary memorial event will take place at 7 p.m.

The focal point of the day will be the sculpture in front of the Fire Station created with steel salvaged from the World Trade Center.
