Suisun City Lawler Residence and Lawler Plaza Ground Breaking Ceremony

Suisun City celebrated the beginning of construction of the new Lawler Residence and Lawler Plaza with a ground breaking ceremony at the site located at 1120 McCoy Creek Way. Lawler Residence will be a 75-unit luxury apartment building with all the most desired amenities. Lawler Plaza will be a 7,200 s.f. commercial space that will be adjacent to the new apartments. Mayor Lori Wilson, Vice Mayor Alma Hernandez, Councilmember Wanda Williams, city staff, and other dignitaries were on hand to celebrate this significant milestone. Construction is estimated to take around fifteen months.

Mayor Wilson stated, “I am so proud that yet another new project is breaking ground this summer in Suisun City. This project will be a shining jewel in our crown as we will be able to offer one of the nicest new luxury apartment buildings in the Bay Area, along with much needed new commercial space. A project like this lifts the status of our entire city and we can’t wait for the grand opening of this project and other projects we are working on!”

City Manager Greg Folsom added, “Today’s ground breaking for this great project is yet another milestone in the progress in Suisun City. Many more projects are in the pipeline and we are excited about more ground breakings and grand openings in the future as we continue to move Suisun City forward.”
