Sales Tax Information

Sales Taxes represent $4 million or 27% of General Fund revenues in the City’s Fiscal Year 2017-18 budget. The City’s local share of the 8.375% City sales tax is 1% (1.7 million in FY2017-18), plus an additional 1% for the City’s Measure S transactions and use tax ($2.3 million in FY2017-18).

Each quarter, the City receives updates on sales tax receipts. You will find below summaries of those reports, which are provided by the consulting firm of HdL.
