Cape Seal & Slurry Seal Repaving Bids Opened

The Suisun City Building and Public Works Department has opened bids for the 2018 Cape Seal and Slurry Seal Repaving projects, which will cover 32 street segments in various locations throughout the City.

As part of the work, all subject locations will need surface preparation, crack sealing (for streets receiving slurry seal), removal and replacement of curb ramps to meet ADA requirements, protection of existing utilities and pavement delineation.  Fourteen street segments will receive cape seal and 18 segments will receive slurry seal.

The contractor will supply all labor, materials, tools, equipment, implements and methods of process to complete the work, as more fully described in the full plans and specifications, which are available through BPXpress Reprographics at or 707-745-3593.

The Engineer’s estimate for bonding purposes is $610,000.


Sealed proposals shall be submitted to the City Clerk of the City of Suisun City, 701 Civic Center Blvd., Suisun City, CA, 94585, no later than 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 8, 2018, at which time the proposals will be opened and read aloud.
