Lyft First/Last Mile Program Comes to Suisun City

The City of Suisun City is partnering with the Solano Transportation Authority’s (STA) Solano Mobility Program to expand the First/Last Mile Program (operated by Lyft) to include all Suisun City residents starting now.

The Suisun City Lyft Program will cover 80% of all Lyft rides (up to a maximum of $25) that originate or terminate from major transit hubs, such as the Suisun City Train Depot and the Fairfield Transportation Center. These transit hubs offer convenient connections to the Capitol Corridor, SolanoExpress (Red Line, Blue Line, and Green Express), Greyhound, Napa Vine Transit, Fairfield and Suisun Transit (FAST), and the Rio Vista Delta Breeze. Trips to and from the Solano Business Park, Solano Town Center, and Solano Community College’s Main Fairfield Campus also will be covered under this Program.

“The Suisun City Lyft Program will help improve the quality of life of our residents by providing them with an affordable, reliable, and efficient alternative to driving themselves,” say STA Board Member and Suisun City Mayor Lori Wilson.

To sign up for the Suisun City Lyft Program, visit https://www.solanomobility.org/commuter/ or call 800-535-6886. Once signed up, participants will be notified as soon as ride discounts have been activated within their Lyft account. A smartphone with the Lyft app installed is required for participation.

Funding for this program is made possible with the assistance of the Bay Area Air Quality Management District (BAAQMD): https://www.baaqmd.gov/, Transportation for Clean Air (TFCA), and Transit Development Act (TDA) funds.
