Fire Alarm Panel Replacement Project – BID CANCELLATION


After the advertisement of this bid, there was a catastrophic failure of the fire alarm panel that caused an immediate need to complete repairs to protect public safety before the public bidding process could be completed. Consistent with the Public Contracts Code and the Municipal Code provisions for emergency repairs, the City Council made the required legal findings and unanimous vote to proceed forward with emergency repairs to the fire alarm panel without completing the competitive bid process. As such, the prior invitation for bids is hereby canceled.
