RFP for Bird Surveys to Support Dredging Project

The Suisun City Building & Public Works Department has issued a Request for Proposals for a qualified contracting firm to perform protocol-level bird surveys to satisfy permitting requirements for the Suisun Marina Dredging and Pierce Island Levee Rehabilitation Project.

The City was issued a state Department of Fish and Wildlife Streambed Alteration Permit to perform levee and dredging work. The permit requires bird surveys for two species identified in the biological assessment as having habitat near the work area.

Field surveys must be undertaken in proscribed periods in the permitted area.  Details of the scope of work can be found in the complete RFP document available below.


PROPOSAL PROCESS

Responses shall submitted to the Public Works – Engineering Division, Attn: Tim McSorley at 701 Civic Center Blvd., Suisun City, CA, 94585, no later than 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 22, 2017.
