Suisun City is proud of the many community facilities it offers for public use for its residents and their guests. In addition to the many programs designed to use the Nelson Community Center, the Senior Center and the various parks, these facilities are available for rent.
The 20,000-square-foot Nelson Center is perfect for events large and small, from weddings and receptions requiring professional kitchen facilities to workshops and seminars for several dozen. It is located in Heritage Park on Village Drive and includes a large parking area.
The 5,000-square-foot Senior Center also is an air-conditioned and service-equipped facility available for smaller group meetings and functions. The Senior Center is located at 318 Merganser Drive, east of Sunset Avenue.
Park facilities throughout the city are available for outdoor functions all year long, including softball and baseball fields at the eight-field Lambrecht Sports Complex, soccer fields around the city, picnic areas and Harbor Plaza on the Historic Downtown Waterfront.
