DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
The Project is more specifically defined in the Contract Documents, but generally includes the following work to be done:
- Application of approximately 160,000 square yards (1,440,000 square feet) of Slurry Seal;
- Pavement repairs with AC Type A Skin Patch, and Type III Microsurfacing, Asphalt Rubber Chip Seal with a cover of a slurry seal, which will be covering the AR Chip Seal;
- Restoration of striping; and
- Other related and incidental items of work such as notification and traffic control.
The pavement repairs and AR Chip Seal will be completed as part of a separate contract.
The Engineer’s Estimate range is from $200,000 to $1,000,000 for bonding purposes and will not be released until the bids are publicly opened.
PROJECT LOCATION:
On City streets at Various Locations, in the City of Suisun City, California. More specifically described in “EXHIBIT A” of the Contract Documents.
BIDDING INFO:
Bids must be received at the office of the City Clerk, City of Suisun City, at the City Clerk’s Office, City Hall, 701 Civic Center Boulevard, Suisun City, California 94585, not later than the Bid Deadline of
Thursday, JUNE 19, 2008 @ 2:00 p.m.
at which place and time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
Plans and specifications are on file in the Office of the Director of Public Works/City Engineer and may be examined at the following location: City Hall, 701 Civic Center Boulevard, Suisun City, California 94585
opies of the plans and specifications are available for purchase, and may be obtained only at the following location: City Hall, 701 Civic Center Boulevard, Suisun City, California 94585
Payment for plans and specifications is non-refundable and must be received in the form of a company check, cashiers check or money order (no credit cards or cash accepted) made out to “City of Suisun City” in the amount of $50.00 per set if picked up in person or $65.00 per set IF MAILED.
