ABAG Projections
Since its inception in 1961 as California's first council of governments, the Association of Bay Area Governments has matured into a respected leader across the nine-county Bay Area region in all aspects of regional planning.

ABAG is the official comprehensive planning agency for the San Francisco Bay region. It's mission is to strengthen cooperation and coordination among local governments. In doing so, ABAG addresses social, environmental, and economic issues that transcend local borders.

ABAG's biennial Projections series provides long-term forecasts through a series of computer models that have been widely recognized in academic literature. Model results are relied on by transportation and air quality agencies, local government, and private industry.
